Thanks guys, im trying to follow the philosophy of "do it once - do it right". It is certainly not the cheapest way of doing things but I know that it will be worth it in the end. :highfive:
nick_m wrote:That is amazing! How the hell did you get your fuel line so straight. My fuel line (aluminium) came in a coil and even "straightened" its pretty average.
The steel tube I got from Fletcher steel and comes in 6m (I think) lengths (straight). So I only had to bend it once for each change in direction. It was still a mission to make sure I got all the angles correct and pointing in the correct direction. :baseballbat:

If you have ones that are still complete you can take to your local brake shop and they bend em up on machine really nicely.

Hey bud, loving that fuel/brake line fitment.

Giving me motivation to do mine 'properly' on the coupe.

Where did you get those 'double' saddle clamps from? they look like the go alright.

cheers'

Thanks Kitch,

Sorry to say but I custom made them myself specifically for the Datto. They are actually all stainless steel, just still have the protective film on them.

Ive also right clicked at saved those images for future reference.
I was thinking of making a mold and seeing if i could fold/press some out of aluminum at work as i have nothing to do there right now.
Fantastic work if i might say.

At this stage in my mind i'm wanting to run stainless fuel lines so that later E85 can become an option. Bit of future proofing. Don't know what the cost of this might be or how hard it will be to get the tube havn't given that part any thought yet.
