cheers guys! yeah im super stoked! so far i think its cost me about $50 for solder, new wire and heat shrink, and the shop quoted me about a day and a half, and each day is $650 worth!

Good to know how it is all put together as well. I know that has helped me problem solve with my Z18ET. Even if you forget over time, it doesn't take long to refresh your memory.

cheers!

now im just having a little bit of trouble with the windscreen wipers! the motor doesn't seem to want to go, maybe its just stuffed! i'll look into it more tomoro! and im having a little trouble with the horn too! but indicators are now wired up all sweet too! and all the dash lights are done!

I know what it is!
I had this exact problem on my 1200. (The charge light wouldn't go off either, but I assume yours isn't running atm?)

I chased the horn wire into the loom, and found that the loom plug where it goes through the firewall wasn't pushed all the way in. it looked together, but it wasn't right home. Go try it, and report back asap! :popcorn:

haha if only i was still using the factory loom and plugs eh! haha! i have to rewire the horn.. but im not sure how the horn circuit works. im not sure if there is a power into the horn or not? some people have said weird things about horn circuits where the switch is just earth.. not power.. but there is only one wire on the horn and at the horn switch.. so im a bit lost haha!

if the horn and windscreen wipers arent working for me today i might start wiring up the motor anyway :D
