Kanos wrote:Hey man, nice 910!
I got one myself which is in dire need of getting low. Was wondering what the part number was on the springs and if you'd chucked em in yet? Wouldn't mind having a look at height difference :D
Unfortunately the lack of a job with reasonable hours has put all work on 'Annie' aside at the moment,
the bills have taken over :strangle:

...So I haven't got the springs/shocks (or got them in lol)
I work at Repco, and the books don't even list the 910's as even coming out with IRS??! :baseballbat:
So I've done some hunting and testing of mates spares (Lot's of nissan nut mates!)
And have found the part numbers of what will bolt into the rear of the 910's (With IRS):

Shocks: Monroe struts (Pair) P#: 23762 (They are the rear struts out of an A31 Cefiro, just need to switch the top hats)
Springs: Cobra springs (Pair( P#: CNRL-17 (Lowered Cefiro springs)

The same will work with front struts (P#: 341285) and springs (P#: CNFL-25) out of a r32 skyline as far as i can tell.
They have the same setup, but the skyline shocks aren't made for the rear of a car...

I haven't managed to find out what fits in the front yet, but when I find out/some one enlightens me, I can have the part numbers the next day for you (And me!) :dance2:

Hope this helps

I'll keep my eyes glued to this thread man! Keen to know what's the best way to lower her. Seen pics of r32 struts in the back...and it's a little too low  like ass on the ground low.
I've had a set of dobi lows priced up through work for $350 but only slight drop :?
Heard stories of s13 adjusties fitting but bit pricey for me.
Heard stories of n14 super lows in front but unsure.
Any clarity would be much appreciated!! :D

The pic of Annie sacked in the rear at night wasn't r32 struts, It was when my factory springs decided
they had too much after 2 years with no load at all, and a good 10 years with no major weight in the rear...
That was with 3 mates (Averaging 65Kg each) and a double sub box. :baseballbat:
When the fear springs failed, the rear tyre's hit the top of the wheel arch
(not rubbing on the guard) just forward of tdc.

I know that R32 front, and A31 cefiro front or rear shocks fit into the rear of 910's,
but still don't know what will fit in the front... :)
I have been searching for a listing for the front shocks at work, but with no success yet... :deadhorse:

I have a mate who wreaks cars, and i am trying a few different things to find out what shocks/springs will get the front of her closer to the tarmac...

Now I'm pretty sure i saw the other day that i can get BRAND NEW tail lights (and possibly head lights)
from work ae! (Repco)

Long time no update...

I started to take the boot back to bear metal, I was quite surprised to fine some cheese! :strangle:
Its on the main rearward facing side, around the keyhole.
The lock was sitting in around 5mm (Give or take) and slowly tapers off to either side.
But the part i can't figure out is that there is no dents in the bumper, or anywhere else on the rear end & the spoiler is perfect! yet the back of the bootlid is rippled as??
Its filled with dents and ripples, and not the sort you would see if it had an accident... :deadhorse:

I'm wondering if it could be a factory defect, hence why she has a spoiler?
Oh, and the paint looks perfect and standard under the spoiler....

Still no luck with front shocks/springs.
I believe they may be insert shocks?? as the base of the strut is fixed to the hub (Non-removable)

On my 910 wagon (leafs) i needed 4 new shocks for my wof, there arent front aftermarket shocks as i know unless you go s14 with different top hats. but i got brand new gas inserts which are same as original but aren't those crappy oil struts, as for the rears mine are just a eye to eye shock which are different to the irs but i got aftermarket monroe gas which are shorter than the originals.

I went to autolign i think its called on who do shocks, springs etc might be a good idea to call in there or give them a ring and see whats available.

On an upper note,
I have been clear of a seizure (Or 'fish-flop' as my friends call it lol) for just over 3 months now! :dance2:

So, I have 38 weeks and 4 days to go! (As far as I see it, I'm aloud to count! I didn't loose my license thru stupidity)
