Video's maybe tomorrow guys

Got a timing light and set timing as per FSM to 20deg BTDC

and found I was a tooth off on the dizzy , timing was like 35deg out!

No wonder it was running like a bad of assholes, idle shot up from 1000rpm to 1800rpm so I turned that back down and now she's absolutely PURRRRRRRING :D

Only its pissing down with rain and I'm not taking it out in the rain Untuned on OLD tires with average wheel alignment

Safety first guys!

To hell with that. It deserves to perform a stationary or two outside the family home to announce its arrival, wet with old tyres etc or not!

Water to air intercooler, keep it stealty as

I will be using the Factory AC condensor as a radiator for the water as its quite big for the job and obviousy bolts in as a factory part.

I will be using a water pump from a 1997 GRP A Celica GT4 as it has a massive pump and there good value at $118

and for the Core probally a 250x250 with 3" inlet and outlet

This will keep temps down , piping short and have practically zero LAG

Ok stopped raining so i went for a drive from Rangioa to Brooklands and back

fuck it goes good, been waiting for this for so long.

No more bucking and farting and spitting and stalling, Temp holds steady at 80 deg
every gear boost builds quickly and you hardly squeeze the pedal and your doing 170.

Clutch needs bleeding more

Desperately needs wheel alignment, when you hit 100 this massive shudder occurs which isn't fun.

My welding the exhaust underneath the car at 11pm the night before the WOF check has a small leak so i might get that one tidied by the PRO's since its in a place where you can't actually see where the hell the MIG wire is going

but these are stupid small things easily solved.

you guys will love the sound of it, mixture of even fire v6 with the Hot cams thrown in + the sound of boost = epic

Pulls so hard, and yes it lights up pretty easy in first and 2nd ( shame its a single spinner )

I already have the Guts of a Short Nose R200 to put into the Long nose housing.

and I have already made up one of the two custom half shafts by swapping odds and ends of different CV's around to get the correct length.

all these "mini" projects I was sitting on are now going to come to light and finally make it onto the car.

Hah paint and bodywork is last I want LSD and Big brakes first

if you need adapter bushes to make the short LSD center fit the long LSD crownwheel bolts sing out. I can hook you up.
