Yea pretty happy! ha the bung is well beyond being able to be undone, its almost a circle.

Well done dude - those bungs are shit at the best of times especially when they are as old as they are now.

From the little drives i have had :burnout:, i couldn't really tell any difference between them, in saying that it has been sometime since i last drove it with the 2L in it, however im not expecting much ha


Things that i need to fix before the southern cruise
  • Window wipers - Fuse is ok, wipers arent getting power (controlled by the ECU??)

    LHS indicators - Bulbs are fine, turn on and stay on. no flashing RHS works fine

    Alternator - Not charging, going to go over wiring again

Things that need to be Fitted/removed
  • EFI fuel pump to be replaced and rewired with the one out of the 260

    Choke

    Remove Existing ECU loom and unnecessary wires.


Any ideas on the problems? ideas welcomed

re: the indicator, check that indicator flashing relay under the dash/ clean up terminals/ change it. It played up heaps on my 140j first time round

What about pouring the oil in through the shifter hole?

Gearbox oil is in, unfortunately it cant go through the shifter
