Re: Kitchs 1200 Coupe - repair work is a go!
Thanks for the positive comments team.
Was gonna post pics up after the exterior primed up in a day or two, but I couldnt wait, had to share with you lads.... as to how it looked tonight.
As you guys would appreciate I am fizzing after 8 long months at the panel beaters, feels like I am finally getting somewhere,...... rather than the coupe just being a piece of primered grey rusty tin, that doubles quite nicely as a money pit, I now feel like I am on the home straight. Assembly will be almost therapeutic after all this time - can't wait! although I will be in the same boat as some of you other guys, trying to remember how to put a car back together, after pulling it apart 4 years earlier.....
Will work on sealing/dressing the underneath, and finish sorting out mount points for fuel/brake lines, gearbox X-member mount relocation, panhard rod fixing point.
Will then come off the rottiserrie once have applied the under seal to the complete underneath / inner guards etc . then on to its wheels for suspension / drive train fit out. will pre-fit up motor and get going, before pulling out to paint engine bay and body in a couple of months (need to find sum $$$$.....)

A wee treat for myself... figure i have NOS Datsun emblems, front bumper, eyebrow chrome etc and even though my grill emblem is mint, and I have repainted it, I think NOS is better !!...
US$ exchange rate, tricks you into justifying expensive import purchases... and hey they aint making this stuff anymore... so why not buy now, rather then regret it later...

Z18ET1200coupe, you can have a badge better than half as good as this if I sell you my current badge!!
Shitty photo, but you get the idea, its polished and repainted, looks pretty mint.
I am just anal and a crazy spontaneous buyer hence buying that ebay item.
I wouldnt sell until mine arrives though, so I dont get left short, if my goes MIA , as it has to come from the Middle East!

If you bought from "ukstar76" (who is in Kurwait and has heaps of NOS datto bits) then you WILL get your items. I got my NOS Skyline badges from him. He was real good to deal with and sent straight away
