Good on you Lange, be great to see this on the road Labour Weekend, Brake Vacuum is just off one of the Manifold runners. Distributor Vacuum is for emissions and economy, if you are going to run it vacuum advance you need to tap into each manifold runner to get a stable draw. You can do this and plumb in you brake or PCV line into the same fitting.

Engine Spec's:

L16

- Bored .40thou over
- New pistons imported from ause, slight dish
- Block acid dipped, decked, re-hoaned, new frost plugs etc
- New mains, big ends, rings pins etc
- Block painted genuine Datsun blue, none of that chev shit
- Crank polish
- Full Balance
- Lightened and balanced flywheel
- Excedy 9" clutch and pressure plate
- sss sump
-Tomei oil pump
- Head plained on both sides, .30thou taken off bottom, acid dipped
- New valves
- 3 angle valve grind
- Ported and polished
- Kelford rally cam
- kelford double valve springs
- New stem seals etc
- New plugs, leads, coil, dizzy cap, waterpump etc
- New coby extractors with the exhaust enlargened to 2 1/4 inch
- Orginaly 44mm solex sidedrafts on a ported manifold but in the interest of getting it running faster and easier on it running it in have changed it to a su set up, will change back to the sidedrafts eventually

- Stumpy dogleg box, cleaned up and re-sprayed. New rear seal, new spiggot bearing

Is currently running well just having a few problems with shit in the fuel, extractors are just missing the firewall as shown, so will probley have to get them shortened somehow.

Am finally getting the screens glued in on monday, so then just need the exhaust made and should be good to go. Grill is a 160jsss one which i bought snapped in half, had it welded up then i finished it, re-painted and detailed it etc.

Am still after a l16 block breather aswell if someone has one

also have swapped out my other wheels for the white ones in the pics, as im going to need to lower it more and streach the rear tyres to make them fit. Also run 15mm spacers on the front which means cert. All the other mods i have done so far should hope fully no get picked up by the wof man, in the interest of getting this thing on the road faster

So got the screens put in a couple of weeks ago and got the extractors shortened, then ordered all my exhaust stuff. Pretty cunty job but have got the exhaust together and installed, sounds mint.

Still to go before WOF:

- Block Breather
- Change altanator so it actually stops of the key
- Get park lights going
- Install some rear speakers and wire them up
- Keep chasing up horopito motors for my steering collum surround and couple of windscreen moulding bits so i can install them.
- Figure out how to hook factory rpm gauge up.
