R32 GTR WHEELS :highfive: If you do buy some, would i please be able to test fit one ?

Good luck with the bearings and gearbox kit, i got my wheel bearings from part numbers via Wilson they were a standard size and fairly cheap, If i recall correctly the "KIT" had bearings with seals only on one side which were more expensive So simply bearings which were fully sealed and then just picked one seal off with some wire.

If you have any trouble with your gearbox assembly. Justin Neil Engineering LTD rebuilt my T5 and did an excellent job, he could advise you on where stuff goes if you get stick, tell him I sent you and it prob wont cost you anything either.

Yeah man, you can try one when I finally get a set, I keep spending money on other stuff and not the stuff I actually need!

The wheel bearing kits have the wrong axle seals in them for doing a conversion like mine, the bearings by themselves are about $65 per side I think it was? Something like that anyway. I told him to make sure they were rubber seal ones so I can just pull the inside seals off.

Bart's offered his expertise if I get stuck reassembling the box but if I get super stuck I'll give your dude a ring, I've got the manual for doing a 280Z box but the C series ones are a bit different, I have to have a think about how much I'm going to do, I don't really want to spend $230 on bearings, rather just replace the rooted one, the front countershaft bearing and the two nuts depending on what they cost.

It has just occured to me that My Dealership Z31 Hard copy manual has a section showing full assembly of an FS5W71C

which i think ( or should be very simialr ) is the same as the Silvia/Skyline box, welcome to borrow the Hard copy anytime.

Bought these, should show up tomorrow I think, all the way from Reefton. Now I just need some time, have to redrill the original rear rotors to 5 stud as I can't find new ones and I can't find anything that matches up in 5 stud. Will possibly start the conversion later this week.

Yeah, that's what I'm using on the Z but the DR rotors seem to be oddball and the offset is all wrong. I don't want to move the caliper.

I spaced out my rear calipers using some round stock that was a snug fit. its working great so far.

My dad might have a jig for drilling four to five. I'll ask him when he comes over soon.

Turned out to be more of a mission than expected but here's 1/4 of a 5 stud conversion!
