I don't follow...just thought that all structural parts minus the sump have to be above 100mm or do the bottom part of the leaf springs not count?mint16 wrote:Whats with the can?
Thats not the correct way to check vehicle ride height.
Im no expert, but I would think that the leafsprings would be included in that 100mm, from the pics it looks like your lowering blocks are the issue there, but if you use smaller ones you will effectively raise the ute, to save me going through your thread, are you trying to do this without cert? if so you will need to raise the rear, in this instance.Tony_Whenua wrote:I don't follow...just thought that all structural parts minus the sump have to be above 100mm or do the bottom part of the leaf springs not count?mint16 wrote:Whats with the can?

How do you measure the ride height?
Yeah I haven't touched the ass end. Its the set up from when I had 17s keeping me off the ground. Been looking up other ideas also but unsure about what will get me through a WOF without Cert.2 doors wrote:Im no expert, but I would think that the leafsprings would be included in that 100mm, from the pics it looks like your lowering blocks are the issue there, but if you use smaller ones you will effectively raise the ute, to save me going through your thread, are you trying to do this without cert? if so you will need to raise the rear, in this instance.
LOOKS LIKE IM OFF FOR A WOF ON SATURDAY!!! .... but were you at the same height?beaver wrote:No^.
It is 100mm to the lowest structural point. However it seems what is seemed structural is up to the individual.
Tony, I had no trouble when I had those wheels and 2" lowering blocks, even got a VTNZ wof.
