Fancy as Battery.
Wheels sound good, but not all RWDs are built the same. R32s, S14s etc actually have like a FWD offset, you will need to test fit when Annie is back, all the best.

Just had a chat to my panel beater, the damage will be $350,
should hopefully get my baby back by the end of the week

He said I've just got to such up a few spots with a lil bit of putty etc to get her smooth as for paint.

Can't wait! and she will be going past my mates to test fit her new shoes on the way home

Well my Annie is back at home now.
Neil (My panelbeater) lent me a spare battery to get her home, and it was a fun trip lol
She didn't want to go much at all...
She started fairly easily, but then halfway back decided to stall on a busy intersection! :poke:
And the battery he lent me was an old spare, so It didn't want to play ball.
Me and Pete (My landlord, driver for the evening and gift-er of my first Datsun!) push started her.

I think the timing has come out again, shes not right.. :deadhorse:
But the first place for me to start will be the head anyway, that's the biggest problem atm. (Now that the rust is gone)

Anyway, here are some late night picks of the repair job..

You can see the newly rolled lower quarter section, and that there is no RUST HOLE above the indicator lol
RH Rear Quater.JPG
Its hard to tell, but the whole strip between the tail lights and lip where the bumper sits has been replaced
Rear End.JPG
Ill try get some photo's in the daylight, most likely tuesday/wensday thanks to work.

On another note, I think I'm going to pass on the rims...
I have been told that due to my current (Factory) rim/profile that the 204/45r16 wrapped rims will wind my gearing up and throw my speedo way out..?

Yeah, shes getting there :dance2:

I'm still trying to get hold of Chris Gerade (I think that's how you spell his name...) to get the head done.
I've been told hes the go-to man for head work in nelson.
Precision Regrinds are good, but they have made a few F-ups in the past. :?
(Most recently, a 10G rebuild of my mates evo4 motor that did the big end 3tho after he got it back!!)

My mate dropped the 16's off to me to try them out...

I had a measure up and the OD of the tyres is damn near the same, :highfive: Taking into account that the tyres on the mags are half worn and my tyres are 90% new (Just weathered lol)

Here's a few pic's:
Side on...
Side.JPG
Looking from the rear...
Rear.JPG
I think they may be a FWD offset, they came off a R32. but they don't sit too bad..
I put lots of shit on the boot to try weight her down, like two rims, a cinder block and a massive wooden car ramp..
But barely dropped her ass, I was quite surprised because of how buggered the rear springs/shocks are.

Oh, and a pic of her ass in the light...

Hes done a good job, I'm really happy with it
