thats what im really curious about, il be running an A15 with cam and twin sidedraughts and a 5spd box. on the drive down to chch it sat comfortably at about 2750rpm @ 100km/ph, and she was running ROUGH!

just dont want to go out and spend big money on tyres and then find that its still pumping out 3100+ rpm at that speed on such low profiles

My wagon when i had my 13's on with 185/60 revved like stink at 100 in 5th, well over 3100RPM thats for sure , hence why i sold them and moved up to a larger wheel

maybe il stick with my 165/65/13 setup for now then....... maybe 60 profile would look nicer though

Cam and sidies could mean that it would be better running at 3000+, lower revs could mean less efficient and even fowled plugs, depending on tune. I only run a 4 sp, but run 70 series, yes your ears are bleeding by the time you get to Ashvegas, but it's the wind noise more than the engine noise that gets me! Remember these things came out on 400 x 12s they are tiny.

Just drive slower

went to visit brendan and chris this afternoon, turned my week right around! fully happy with the advice given and stoked i can make my wheels work within my guards.

great bunch of blokes there. hi 5s all around!!!
