I have an inkling ....... is It a mixture of my old dogleg and your Turbo a14? Having said that it could have been the Subaru water to air thing? ;-)

you got it the first time, your old dogleg 60 series lol, I cut and shut the sump so that the engine sits a bit lower and further back as well.
with a little luck ill get the engine and gearbox mounts done this week, and then I can finish the inlet plenum, at least the car is now in the shed, so I can do all the other stuff like fuel lines and brake lines as well.
theres also the doors to finish and plenty of bodywork to tidy up and complete.

Hey WAL

You were asking about this so here it is

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 454970.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Seems good quality. I will report back once i have tested mine, If I am disappointed with it the plan is to use the solenoid and build the Jaycar electronics EBC kit
The Answer to your Question is NEEDS MORE VG30

Right, now that we have some pics yah, ill explain, engine mounts are done gearbox mounts just about lined up, just a bit of cut and shut there.
water to air cooler will need some pipe work done to help line things up,
this afternoon I should be able to start back on the plenum, looks like the plenum will need a 90deg bend between the end of the throttle body and the water to air cooler, it will be tight but should look quite tidy once sorted.

The front crossmember looks great. Any idea how far you have dropped the engine, have you also moved the engine back aswell? I,ve dropped the engine in my 1200 by fitting lower engine mounts, it dose make a differance to handling.
