That looks Great!
Who chose the black for the engine though? At the very least you oughta find a "datsun" rocker cover and spray it the factory colour.

Cheers Bart! Black for the engine was my choice and have a Datsun rocker cover. Will get it done but in the interest of getting the engine assembled, running, and in, used the spare

Haven't settled on final colour scheme but black goes with almost everything!

A lot has been happening in the last few months to get rebuilt engine in and car as ready as possible before Labour Weekend next month. Was great getting the engine running real quick before moving the car back to Kaiapoi for more rust repair/maintenance

The following is a brief first engine run video once the engine was initially bolted in... It's alive, ALIVE!
