Yeah, I wasn't expecting the exhaust to be a problem but the downpipe is pretty close to the floor, it's a pretty easy fix though so I'm happy. Just have to find someone to give it a warrent now as I don't think the Hoff does it.

Your car should fly through with the detail you've put into it.

Cheers dude. Im the same with my dump pipe. Real close to the floor and real close to the passnger side steering joint. Will wrap it up with heat wrap and put a heat sheild around the turbo.
Cant wait to hear your car thru the tunnel again!

Car is not ready to get rechecked, just need to get a letter from the dudes that welded my stuff which I'll try and get tomorrow with the help of some beers.

Great work DJZ!!! What an awesome project and resulting car! Great to see that there were only a few minor issues with certing the car. What was is that they wanted for the gbox mounts? What does the end result look like?

My project is in NZ at the mo. I am in the UK so I feel a lesser man without my tools and my cars.

Thanks man, I had to add a gusset to each gearbox mount, they are basically just two L brackets. Next time I'm under the car I'll try and get some pics.

I would have had it back in for the cert recheck by now but I'm in Dunedin working, next week hopefully.

Welded a bracket onto the vacuum canister this afternoon and put it back on the car tonight, it's finally ready for the cert recheck so hopefully the Hoff can fit it in this week, then it's about 5 days to make the cert plate up then I can try for a warrant hopefully not this weekend but next weekend.
