This is the same one my mate has been looking at. It has rust in the doors and I'm fairly certain the guy has no dereg papers for it which will make it almost impossible to register from what I've been reading.
Could be registered/re-registered under classic car couldn't it?

Can't be re-registered if it's never been registered before. He has talked to the LTSA and somebody told him it could be registered as a scratchbuilt/kit car but I don't think that's the car unless somebody chops it up.
Without dereg papers I think you are pretty much screwed which is probably why it's never be reged before.
