Unsure Nick, its got to be done sooner or later, just a heap of unknowns to sort out.
Was thinking it might be easier to get car running in conventional fashion, then bring on the ECU & Electronic spark control, and distributorless ignition on line. once thats all sorted, I will bring on the Additional inputs (TPS, temp, O2 etc) and the EFI (in conjunction with finishing my manifold)
taking family to Gold coast in a fortnight for a week, so not much will be happening this month.

I think its a good idea to run it up on standard coil/points ignition. I made the mistake of trying to get a rebuilt / modified / cammed engine going on an adjustable EFI system right from the start.

It was a nightmare because i had simultaneous mechanical and EFI / ignition gremlins, it was hard to know what was what and for a long time i got nowhere for a very long time.

If i were doing it all over again I would make sure i have a properly working engine first and then putting the good bits on.

However, you are far more thorough and prepared than myself whichever way you go I'm sure it will be immaculate like the rest of your build.

Yeah, its definately the way to go.
its easy enough to borrow a coil and the likes of Simon, as think I have got rid of that standard ignition stuff I had lying around.
The coupe loom has not been modified as yet, so all connections are still there.

Will try and get it running up on carbs at the weekend.

Looking AWESOME makes me want a Coupe again
