Its been a long while since ive update this thred,1200 is still around and kicking ;) Ive done a complete exhuast change from headers to new barrel,its a semi-flow for some quietness :| . here are some pics.

Ran the car for a month then to notice that the headers were burning out the idler arm bushings very quick i happened to change two pairs :| THEN baught some heat wrap and put on to the headers for a cooler engine bay too.Burning of the bushings stopped.I also got around to make a sheild from some aliminum to protect the bushings.Pics

Datsun 1200's are bad for eating those bushes. Even without the zhorst running past.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............
