Yup dont stress too hard dude. If you have all the bits like bart said it can pretty much only go together one way haha

The only part that requires any experience is the correct order for reassembly.
Also If I were you I'd be geting all your nuts and bolts zinc plated before you begin reassembly.

Also fitting the right strut on the right side might need some experience, this might be one of those 'you don't know what you don't know' things that can be daunting. Have you got a manual? Bart you might know more than you give yourself credit for.

Actually luke. I have a datsun 1200 service manual that you can borrow. Its got step by step instructions with pretty pictures. Just come pic it up and you can borrow it

@ nick.......i have 1200 service manual already lol but thanks anyway nick, also big thanks for the rear quarter window!!!

@ everyone else.......is it worth me getting new wheel bearings etc? and where/how much is zinc plating? also, the whole re-assembly bit...... box of beers up for grabs if someone/ some people can basically do it for me? il be the moral support and can hand over tools ans if you point at it without naming it, a certain bolt/ nut?

Drop Greg (Datto_610) a line regarding plating. He's done a lot of stuff for plenty of the guys, and you can check out Kitch's coupe thread for proof ;)

mmm shiny....
I'm thinking I should replate some of the stuff in my 1600 engine bay. Otherwise going to look stink with oxidised dirty parts on bright shiny new paint. What sort of investment would be required to plate a pile of bits like that out of interest?

Much less than you might think Morgan. It's about 15% of the price of getting stuff chrome plated.

Luke, you're in sydnham somewhere aren't you? I could swing by one arvo after work and take a gander at where you're up to.

way ahead of you all in terms of zinc ing! greg kindly popped over at lunchtime and took every nut bolt and bracket i could find!!!
