Got a bit more done on car after work. We decided to add a leg to the fuel filler in the boot as you have to have a fuel overflow hose to the external of the vehicle and a hose dangling in mid air looked average but in saying that I'm not a huge fan of the leg either but it is only temp until I build a fuel cell.

Also added two small breather filters too the catch can. We run out of height to put only one decent size filters and I wasn't comfortable with only 1 small one so fitted 2 small ones, not sold on the idea but at the end of the day it is a race car and I can't afford too be too fussy

What are the sizes of those breather filters? You said you couldn't get any smaller than you supplied me

25mm neck 38mm dia 35mm filter height, would these suit you? If so I'll sort them out.

I took the car out for its first skid on the new motor on Thursday. It was a very illegal drive out in the country with no wof no reg no cert etc but I'm happy with how she went. I basically warmed the motor up then raped the snot out of it as I reckon the best way to run a motor in is how you intend on driving it in the future. I'm still gutted that I paid someone good money to tune webers and they are still so far off it's not funny but they will do for this track day.
