That auction is worded like the seller is a car dealer. (edit, it is)
Does look like a sweet car though.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Thanx Kitch. Seeing as I didn't get anything at the auction I was going to just quietly pick this up before anyone else saw it.

It won't be road legal, and he did suggest viewing. I'd image she's pretty beat up with a tired engine... I'd love to be able to take it back to bare metal and restore/do it up, although a lot of the guys have 1600's who are doing the same, so maybe time for something different for me :)

The worst cars to take back to bare metal and rebuild are ex rally/race 1600's!

I should know, mine was one and it was a fucken joke how much was wrong with it under the paint. So unsafe and a weak chasis I would stay away from all ex race/rally cars for restoration projects.

BTW, I too was eyeing that Datsun up under the radar, but I am dreaming and pretty broke.
My orangatang 510 here.

For anybody wanting a Z at the right price this is good buy.

Auto to Manual swap is easy and with a little work a very good handling car
The Answer to your Question is NEEDS MORE VG30

Very 80's, but very nice! Looks quite well looked after, and gotta love the 'star wars' speedo :)
