That 1600 seems too cheap!

It won't be road legal, and he did suggest viewing. I'd image she's pretty beat up with a tired engine... I'd love to be able to take it back to bare metal and restore/do it up, although a lot of the guys have 1600's who are doing the same, so maybe time for something different for me

The worst cars to take back to bare metal and rebuild are ex rally/race 1600's!

I should know, mine was one and it was a fucken joke how much was wrong with it under the paint. So unsafe and a weak chasis I would stay away from all ex race/rally cars for restoration projects.



BTW, I too was eyeing that Datsun up under the radar, but I am dreaming and pretty broke.

I think he means he has $440 of receipts for the turbo

Or Perhaps $4400 of receipts in Total for the Car

Thats Henry advertising A series cam grinds.
he has ground two cams for me so far, and is a real GC and only charges like $120 + courier if you supply cam, and will grind to whatever specs/details you give him.
I highly recommend him.

63A gearbox, dude reckons it's from an FJ20 but from a quick search it looks like an L series dogleg box?

Thats a short box too.
Those ones are quite sought after. If I hadn't just pulled mine down to give it a birthday, I'd be all over that.
