For anybody wanting a Z at the right price this is good buy.
Auto to Manual swap is easy and with a little work a very good handling car

I'd image she's pretty beat up with a tired engine... I'd love to be able to take it back to bare metal and restore/do it up, although a lot of the guys have 1600's who are doing the same, so maybe time for something different for meBartman wrote:That 1600 seems too cheap!

I should know, mine was one and it was a fucken joke how much was wrong with it under the paint. So unsafe and a weak chasis I would stay away from all ex race/rally cars for restoration projects.
BTW, I too was eyeing that Datsun up under the radar, but I am dreaming and pretty broke.
Yeah check out the shot of the right rear guard from inside the boot!

Thats Henry advertising A series cam grinds.
he has ground two cams for me so far, and is a real GC and only charges like $120 + courier if you supply cam, and will grind to whatever specs/details you give him.
I highly recommend him.

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions
Thats a short box too.
Those ones are quite sought after. If I hadn't just pulled mine down to give it a birthday, I'd be all over that.
