well that sucks then. failing that, maybe just get new front discs, some good sport pads and redo the rear brakes to make sure everything is spot on. the factory brakes should be alright with the standard engine in place. are you looking at getting a different engine fitted. is so, i would recommend fitting larger brakes. you may need to save up the money to do the brake upgrade in the future as nothing sucks more than shit brakes, and nothing is more fun than having a good brake setup on a car

I currently deal with the engine swap ca18det already bought it and already is on its way after the brakes soon see how I do this but the s13 is very good!

s experience someone has in swaps? Someone has placed a ca18det a B110? not seem difficult for projects that came out there on the net at my only difficulty is that all the projects I see are the B110 with the steering wheel on the right is the steering box is not difficult both in Europe the cars are all on the left-hand drive
in the know if I did to heed?

maybe post a pic of the engine bay so we can see what you are dealing with. i havent done that swap myself, but it may be easier in a left hand drive car. you might not have to remote mount a clutch master cylinder like you would in a right habd drive car. you may run into clearance issues with the ca18 exhaust and your steering box, but you wont know until you try. my advice, just keep looking on the net for conversions and jump right into it. you may find its a simple swap, or you may have some minor problems. its the best way to learn, and have fun.

there are a couple project threads on here with ca18 going into the b110 cars, but none left hand.

if you have any trouble in the future, take some pics and dont be afraid to ask us questions

Hi, love your 1200!
looks awesome.....would love to help, but I guess its quite hard with a technical thing like wiring...

I have attached some wiring diagrams that I have made for the CA18DET.....maybe that could help you?
Or maybe you could pay my airfares to Portugal? haha
