Sorry to all that have had items or them selves damaged.
I learnt a bit about this stuff at the start of the year. The world is an amazing place that can f_ck shit up when it busts a nut.
Bricks are only good for axle stands when you only have two sissor jacks.
Take care all and get a wheel going.

We lost the Chimney and 2windows but nothing serious, thank god.
What a way to be woken up, so lucky that it wasn't during the day.
Airport has structural damage to the building itself.
some pics of my day http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=4 ... 458c8b568c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We have frinds in Kaipoi who have new houses (3months old) that will need to be bulldozed and rebuilt.
Heart goes out to anyone who has suffered, and you guys at riverside. Think first thing i checked was my car.
Wish all these aftershocks would stop though

i count myself and my cousin as some of the lucky ones. our place shook like fuck, especially upstairs, and the only damage caused was some scratched paint work, and a bit off spilled paint on my laurel. thank fuck :?
