Thankfully they grew out of that. Spoken again to him today and looks like he might have to pass it up due to owning to many dattos. Was going to be $4500. Im still telling him to buy.

4500 is alot for a car that know one knows if it even runs.
Also i hope malcom maldat isn't involved.
How do people even know about this car apart from this thread? the world is too small.
My workmate was hoping the old guy could be taked down some with the price but now with all this intrest and the fact its not worth 4000 unless it was your dream car it looks even more like its just going to stay on his lawn.
suck.
it needs alot of work, it has rust, you just cant see it in the pictures, its been sitting for so long all the brakes are stuffed. Also the engine condition is unknown!

I agree but money isnt really a problem and it would be bare steeled and rebuilt any way.
They are very passionate about datsuns and I love every thing they stand for.
I feel the maldat has contacted them regarding this as they do not use the net much or use forums.
Has the current owner had since new or near new?
I was told all the details of this car and even sounded like the same pics.

Maldat will be lurking if they are asking that price. Sorry but $4500 is too high for that car, $2k maybe.

I thought you would of been proud of a mark up like that flauski. 4500 is alot but when you can save that in two weeks why not.
Anyway, looks like he wont be getting it as its too far away and the 3rd barn isnt finished yet
Hope some one gets it, I dont see many 230 coupes around.

I hope someone gets it too. However 260c dont have much of a following really. Bit like 240ks too. U see cars like these in this condition go for under 2k reguarly.
I mean i paid 1k for mine and if you have seen it you would laugh at me. Guess it s worth what someone who really wants it would pay for it

Personally i think its worth 2k tops
with $1500 being more realistic.
Also i believe current owner has owned it since mid nineties.

The maldat might have been telling a few fibbs about the condition and history to justify the $4500 price tag. Id still like it sitting in some ones garage and not the weather.
