Have a few pictures of the Dattos and the Fiat 131 before it jumped off the hill
We were driving behind a BDA Escort with straight cut gbox through the city for a little while and it sounded sweet. Its defintely a little faster than a Pulsar turbo ,but gave them a few laughs :D Sad to see the 131R crash out , they're really great cars and had heaps of rally success back in the day. Hey go the Datto's !

Fyckin' wadda ya know, was walking down to the bottle-o on friday arvo and HEAR a swarm of BDA's. Just so happens that the whole rally-full of survivors parked up in the local park/domain and set about tweaking n chaingin setups, was so sick! Stood around at the entry snapping shots and dribbling, weakened knees and all. Finally found where the rest of the Mk1 2drs went! Jizzin over the datsun stables too. That Nick Mason in the red 240z from U.K isnt of Pink floyd fame is he?

I'm definitely going to make the trip down next time to watch this awesome event. Awesome effort by that Aussie in the 1600. What a weapon. And so many BDAs is one place is not something you see every day.
btw I don't think the Nick Mason in this rally is the drummer of Pink Floyd although he is also known to do a bit of motorracing.
