Ah Ok apologies for the delay in post's lately.
Have been busy doing some stuff on the R31, getting ready for a fun drift day(HORI DORI 4).
Also built a drift trike(50cc power)so have been busy ,just not on the violet.
Any way here is a slight update.
Have cut out the rot from the fire wall and replaced with steel.....
Also have cut out rust where bottom of windscreen sits and replaced with steel....
Bit of a mission to get that slight shape....
Also scored some lower sills for her too...yay .
But still a lot of work left.
But here are some pic's of the drift trike i built from scratch, well apart from the bike frame i modified to suit.
It started with this 1st,
Which is just a 50cc pit bike, with a modified swing arm to suit.
Was ok but too small so.........
I modified the frame to suit my size...
And then just let your imagination go wild...
I got to this stage, i was getting motivated...
Then she got the ZEROFIGHTER colour code paint job.
Was looking awesome...
And now finished.......
I have since fitted a air ram to the head to aid a bit more airflow through it, and air ram to the carby.
She goes pretty hard to, top speed estimate 45 kms approx, and thats sideways.
got to post a vid now ,will follow as soon as i figure out how to post it.
