The car was originally brought from Masterton and stored in a barn in Greytown, it had most parts even down to the seat belt clips at the roof.
Does anyone have for sale wing mirrors for a 240k that they would like part with, also require window rubbers if someone can help it would be appreciated.
Also Flauski is your 240 colour lavender and was from wellington originally? If so I may be able to help with it's history as only 2 lavender cars came into Wgtn.

according to the OEM part book its "ravender metallic" :)

No idea if it came from Welly, the days of getting previous owner details when you change ownership are long gone.

What rubbers specifically are you after?

I heard that another 240K has recently been imported from Oz for 20k.

It is 18k not 20 but aussie $ so more than 20 plus shipping, gst, etc makes it a rather expensive buy considering a new one cost 5600 in 1975, and it's on the water. I need window rubbers, I'm told the ones on the car are not that great and a little drafty at speed. I could also do with some original fender mirrors if you know of any. With the car comes a huge amount of parts plus L24 and diffs and gear boxes panels and interior parts. Japs cant pronounce L, my 75 was Lavender according to Williams & Adams, and I still have about a litre of original paint ex Japan.
