Yeah it's not the prettiest but i've seen worse!
I'll see what the panel beater thinks once i've stripped the paint...

Latest score for Belle...

SSS Coupe tacho. $70 delivered from the west coast.

In other news my second sill turned up today (She came with one and I needed a second)
Now to save my pay for a couple of weeks and finish ripping up the sound deadning in the cab, then off to the panelbeaters for rust removal!!!
It's been along time comming, and I can't wait to see all the cancer gone. And an excellent qoute from one of Nelsons finest 'Old school' panelbeaters.

A word of warning with those factory tacho's.
I'd have it's accuracy check out before you start using it to limit how hard you rev your engine. I pushed an old engine of mine to around 7700ish. Then later found out that it was only showing 6200, when the motor was pulling 7500.
I can still hear that engine screaming. It haunts me every day................

Man yeah! That's the first pic of them on a ute I've seen.
The offset etc looks ok too (I was a little worried about it...)
I just need some way to cover the MASSIVE center protruding from the rims...

Alright guys update time!!!

My wee Belle is away at the 'old school' panelbeaters, Dallas @ Richmond panelbeating services, having his hands working magic all over her body (and some insides hehe..)

And because I know that :useless:

Here is the progress in visual proof!
New sills fitted!

So what do you think? Personally, I'M WRAPPED!!! :Jelly:

Color has also been chosen!

I was wanting to go with an OE Datsun Gloss orange but, upon going over ALL of the Datsun/Nissan colors at the paint shop most were too mustard/cream or too yellow for what i want so...
I have decided to go with the Porsche 'Signalgleb' (Signal yellow) used on the 911's in 1971 (Same era count's right?) :poke:

Me and my partners old man are going to spray the enginebay/interior/door jams and inside of the doors. and do the primer and blocking the exterior for paint, and a mate with a booth will bomb it as a weekend perky for me! can't wait!!
