Did that KA24 headed monster never get going properly?
Something about that build apealed to me.
Some nutter fitted a twin cam head to an A series recently too. MX5 maybe?

The A series is basically a BLMC motor isn't it Bart?
They fit BMW motor cycle heads to them. I think I've seen the one you mentioned, I think it was a Mazda B6 head.

From memory it went for a while then he spilt a bore then had crank thrust issues then head sealing issues as it's still 3 pieces bolted together.

It was up at 1200.com a while ago.
I'd say why bother when people have run sub 12 with A15 heads.

His latest version. Using gear drive from the crank to a ka24 style chain at the top for the twin cam. This time installed in a S30Z and using fully counter weighted LD28 size crank, L14 spec rods and custom dome pistions. Goal is 400ps. Project was delayed due to funds after he sourced some rare Mikuni 50phh carbs for the project.
