Update. Got car back for Auto sparkey with Link wired in and full re wire or car. Gave to old computer to a megasqurt expert and his face dropped. Never seen something so fucked up as this one. Relates to wires having 3x joins In one run. Needs dyno tune now or ill take it to panel beater. I'm looking at replacing sills on both sides is there anyone on here making them as this will speed up the time for my panel man. he can make them but doesn't have the time. I like the white coupe's that have been painted but was think about Burnt orange as a colour. Any thoughts or pictures on this colour scheme. Cheers

I got these guys to make mine, i inititally got Thai ones from aussie, then found they were for sedan and ute, and coupe is longer. I ended up using a combination of the custom ones and the thai ones in the end. I would prob say use the thai ones, but get 3 so you can lengthen them to suit the coupe. The custom ones dont have the shape at ends to line up properly like stock. There is also a place in Invercargill that can make them from a pattern, but they are 190 each plus shipping, and the 2 i got from aussie cost me less than 190 shipped for 2.

Finally got photos of the new link, The guys a legend. goes above and beyond and lets you know if he see something not right. rings me to get the ok to continue. he said he couldn't wire the original 1200 rev counter to the link but knew who to send it to make it work to keep the old school look. If you want any wiring sorted PM me. He's located in Matamata area.

Be wary of anything a factory tacho tells you. Check it against a known accurate one. I had one that read 6200 at 7500. You should have heard the noises the engine was making when the tach showed 7700.......

The Link should sort out and have a Rev limiter sorted in computer. If rev counter is out as long as it works im happy. Started to grind back the sills and found more bog and rust than I thought. So much for couple quick rust repairs and back on road. Talked to panel beater and he advised me to strip car completely get it blasted and start from scratch. more money. grrr It would be cheaper in long run I know but adding 4K plus to the car. it will look better once done. Bit pissed off but what can I do.
