I think they stopped making them in '94. look at all that emission crap on it. Mint wee ute though. almost cheaper than buying an old one and doing it up

Yep, they kept making them in japan until the mid '90's. One of mine is imported from japan, is an '89 and is in real nice condition. I paid $4k a couple of years ago for mine. The south african bakkies made in the mid 90's onwards had a higher roof line to fit all the giant south african farmers in the cab (over 6' makes a cramped cab!!). Its a short wheelbase too, you can see its only got 4 hooks on the side of the tray,not 5 like NZ new utes

dont think its a bakkie they have a higher roof, that looks normal to me. would be sweet to own.

Bakkies came with the low roof and then change to the high roof late on. Some one made mention of this earlier some where.

its not a bakkie, its a jap import b122.

saw that ute in the otago daily times a few months back and im sure they were'nt asking 10 for it.
