Managed to get my ball joints off and put them on correctly so my struts would bolt up. Got the drivers side sorted, because I stuffed the thread on the other ball joint Bart is going to see if it's salvageable otherwise I'll have to get another one. All going to plan should have the B back on the ground in time for garage day!

Been a while since iv had an update but was without a computer for a good few weeks, have a new laptop now so all sorted.
I managed to remove the old inlet mani gasket off the head after a lot scraping, it took so long that gasket was baked the fuck on!
So i have fitted the first part of the inlet manifold ended up getting the wrong gasket a while ago so went back to Appco to get right one took the guy a while to find it but there was one in stock i was stoked as. The stupid thing is that 4 port CA inlet mani gasket was only like $10 but the 8 port gasket was $37 something so ive got a spare 4 port head inlet gasket if anyone is after one. Im having a bit of trouble trying to get the tie rods adjusted so i can have a slightly straight alignment to push the car round. The 180 will be going to Dans soon to get wiring sussed out so need to get these wheels aligned sooner rather than later anyone keen to help out??
I sat the plenum on the motor just so it looks more complete still needs bolting on and getting all hoses etc in the right places. Also got some silicon joiners got them from a shop online as no one in NZ had the size and colour i wanted intercooler piping looks like it will be short so ill need to get done soon too.

I should be able to give you have with your wheel alignment Greg. Do you have a haynes manual? I used the measurements in my haynes manual to give my sunny a wee tickle up today. It'd be heaps easier with two people.
I'd like to put my name down for that spare gasket too.
I'll try flick you a txt one night after work. (Depending on how late I finish, and how fucked I am)
I'll try remember to bring that tap too.

Bart came round the other night and after a few steiny pures the steering was sorted! Turns out i had put the steering knuckle arm things on the opposite sides
pays to read the numbers on them as they also have an R and L stamped on them too.... Anyways was stoked to get sorted so now i can take the B round to Dans for some wiring, going to pull the diff out first so i can get my LSD center assembled and intstalled in the diff housing. Need to get my moustache bar modified for the R200 as its just sagging at the back at the mo. Anyone keen to help me with that too??

Could we sandwhich a tapered wedge shaped flange where the turbo bolts to the turbo manifold to rotate the turbo in towards the motor to get that flange to clear the things it fouls on atm?
of is there not enough movement on the bolts/studs?
