Been given some free time to work on Ute.
A12 and 4sp back in the hole. Diff etc all back together. Forgot how annoying the wiring loom is as I’m Trying to put the auto chock back in the mix.

When I got the exhaust cut to fit the A14 headers I forgot to keep the 2bolt exhaust flange. Anyone have one laying around before I go and cut the one off the sedan supplies?

I’m having trouble tracing wires on the loom.
I’ve got a brown wire with a black strip that goes all the way from engine bay harness and stops by the engine earth.

I can’t find a modern wiring diagram that has brown wires. Anyone able to help?

TURNS OUT THE EXTRA WIRE WAS FOR ORIGINAL FRONT TURN LIGHTS. I’d put new aftermarket ones in which only run two wires.

I recently delivered this to its new owner in Wellington. A young lad who seemed keen as and hopefully we will see him more in the Datsun community.
