we dont need to make the rear panel fold down. For one it will take all the ridgidity out of the boot well.
I've been discussing with wal a superior method of mounting it. My dad gave me the idea when he did the drawbar, and wal says he has a way of acheiving thre same thing with a bit less work.

what ever is decided im happy to contribute what time i have to work on it.

It seems a shame to undo the work of the current bbq mounting done by those who turned up on the last organised working bee.
If there was other ideas in regards to mounting the bbq maybe those with ideas should have turned up when it was made to put thier ten cents in.
I personally think the idea will suffice just needs finishing.
There is more problems to tackle first over the mounting of the bbq

spare wheel could be put underneath at the back put flat floor remove or cut hole in bottom off well and put ute type tyre hanger underneath .......boot lid should be able to open more if stoppers are changed it stops where it stops to not hit the centre off window ..........just ideas .......................

The spare whee;l well is fucked anyway. Plus it isn't gonna need a spare wheel. Pratically every car at an event will have a spare wheel that will fit it.

We should organise and have a working bee where things get done. The people at the bee could make the decisions as they are the ones doing it? The bbq could be bolted in then to clean it just unbolt it lift it out. Then put it back in clean again. You can easily tell what it is from behind. If someone cant tell what it is from the side, who cares!! The obviously dont care about datsuns if they cant identify a trailer thats being towed by a datsun in a convoy of datsuns! We all know what it is and its our club so who cares!

Im not all that worried if people know what it is at all......but still goes with out saying that without at least some portion of the c-pillars, it looks pretty gay
