thats a brilliant idea there, we can have the look of a 1600 from the side without loosing the pillars and not have to worry about having the roof being a hazard/pain in the arse

Ive mentioned to Bart that the trailer may require lvv cert, and I feel its probly a wise idea to speak to a certifier before any serious work is commenced.
If the club wants to wing it and go for wofs with the trailer built as the club wants it, go for it.

Re: Datsun club BRE 510 BBQ trailer!!!!!!
it shouldnt need a cert if its gonna be regd as a trailer..
trailers only need working lights, no rust, a good coupling, safety chain, suspension bushs if fitted and no jagged bits to cut anyone...oh and good tyres/wheel bearings..
last week i saw a flat deck ute chassis cut from the back of the cab,the trailer was the chassis with a high reach deck, and it still had the diff in it.. looked rude as hell

Re: Datsun club BRE 510 BBQ trailer!!!!!!
i think we should definately get a professional opinion asap before we get too excited and have to change it all lol makes sense to get a proper trailer warrant cert person to check that we're on the right track, would suck to make the thing only to have to hack it up again and better to be safe than sorry? Does anyone know someone we could ask who knows the exact specs we need etc?

Re: Datsun club BRE 510 BBQ trailer!!!!!!
doubt it will need cert or anything like that but will it need a LPG certificate because of the gas?
