Yeah she's going not bad but needs a good tune! just running a silvia single row radiator and one 12 inch fan. I was thinking it pprobably wouldn't cool enough it enough but it can sit there idling without the fan for ages before it gets half way on the temp gauge.
I'm using a T3/4, by the looks of it one of the crappy 500buck ones off trademe. I thought it was an absolute useless pice of crap at first, but i had an exhaust leak that made it super unresponsive and laggy. now that I've fixed the leak i think its mint! still probably a little bit lagy for some people, but I'm happy with it! full boost probably comes in about 4000 and its still pretty responsive off boost. And you can run about 22pound with it too! I fiddled around with my wastegate ports the other day and accidentally freeboosted it for a little while and it was going mint haha!
you still runnning the factory turbo on yours? you gona get a bigger one or nah?

Still running the factory one on mine atm, got a few blown turbos i may get one good one made from them all. Iv got a skyline radiator and my fans are so close to the engine its not funny. Overheats a bit when im driving slow which is gay.

I have an engine reconditioner mate who happens to be a top rally driver too who says those Chinese turbos are mint and there is nothing wrong with them.

Yeah right. The problem with him saying that is there has got to be hundreds of different chinese rip off turbos on the market. So which on is the good one? I too know top rally drivers and engine builders and they go through turbos like nobodys business. Anti lag kills turbos. No matter which brand they are

Heres another really good one to get you going - the control in those early 90's was incredible

Got a few things sorted the other day and trailered the coupe out to the valley and then did a good couple of hours of tuning. got all the mixtures about right with all the different loads and rev ranges ect. I didn't bother touching the timing because i don't know how much to run before i start melting pistons..
Then went out yesterday again to try and make the acceleration enrichment a bit better, this time I went from my mates farm in tuamarina over to whites bay (some good tight hills), and it was running mint on the way over, the rear end was very very skittery up the hills haha. But on the way back it started to cut out and backfire on full acceleration at times? I'm hoping I was just staring to run out of fuel.. It also then started to massively overboost.. boost is set at 14 and it was getting up to boost cut which is 25! So i'll check my wastegate diaphragm today..
here's a couple of little photo's my dad took when i took pop for a quick hoon after lunch haha. I'm running big ugly wheels on the back at the moment because if i run the ones matching the front, iI have to lower it more, and then the diff hits the floor.. but hopefully i'll do some floor "massaging" in the nest couple of days haha..
