Right. I've done a few things lately, I'll whack up some photo's next time I take a camera to the shed..
I've tidied up the boot, put in a sterio, rewired some computer stuff, tidied up the ecu wiring inside the car, put some bigger blocks in the back, cracked the hell out of my headers, brought some new ones, got it all going again, put some locks in and the front grills above the bonnet, new door rubbers, new boot rubber, and lot of other stupid little things.. Also brought some other wheels just for track use and general thrashing, so when I get them i'll take the tyres off the mesh wheels and paint the insides and polish the crap out of them..

Also will hopefully put in a new windscreen and windscreen rubber this week.. then there's a few little things like putting my winscreen washer bottle somewhere hidden.. and a few other little jobs.. I'm going to ring up my certifier this week too and see when he's keen to come over and have a look.. But i've herd he has gone out of business, which i hope isn't true because he is a top cat! His name is Kendall Bradley if anyone knows?

Here's a couple of photo's..

Check out the Kangroo pouch washer bottle in this pic, (as posted in Datsun photo thread tonight)

Could be inspiration for that Nostalgic Stripped out racer look. Although they may have used it for Water injection rather than window washing.

Have done a little bit here and there lately.. got a new windscreen and rubber put in, made up a oil catch can and got some braided lines for it, started polishing up one of my wheels. I did the old wheel lathe trick and it works pretty well! I had to spend ages sanding away with 60grit to try and get rid of all the pitting though. But once the pitting is gone its a pretty quick process getting up to 2000 grit. the photo is off half the wheel at 2000 and the other half polished. I'm pretty happy with how the polish comes out!

I also painted my rocker covers in rising sun for a laugh because my mate was painting his car red and i thought it would be rude not to mask them up and hit it with some red while there was some in the gun!

I've been trying to contact my certifier lots but he never picks up the phone.. so I'm assuming not doing it anymore. But there is now a certifier in motueka so i'll give him a call sometime! hopefully cert isn't too far away!
