oh dear that sounds ominous,

had a play with this today, buffed the boot lid and installed it, then cleaned up the tail lights and fitted them, and put the back bumper on. pretty happy with things.

it wouldn't hurt to try, what are we looking at ? head studs, rod bolts do they do big end bolts? or do people just get new original ones.
I tried getting new original ones from BNT and repco but there was no listing for them so I had to use original head bolts. How much boost are you going to be running Wal?

Hey pete, how are things? yeah I still love the wheels, but have not forgotten that they are mearly on long term loan lol.

plans for the engine I was building are now shelved as I bought Barts motor, so will now be running A15 with hpc coated pistons, balanced bottom end, shotpeened rods, dowled flywheel, big cam,arp bolts and all sorts of tricky bits in the head including 5mm oversized inlet valves etc etc.

ill still be running my turbo and injection manifold, with the megasquirt computer, so all in all it should speed things up with not having to build the motor myself.

I have painted all my front end parts struts and cross member etc, and installed the dolbi progressive springs I bought off Brendan, Greg hooked me up with new boots and grease nipples for the ball joints, and now its all looking pretty tidy in the front end.

not sure how much boost ill be running, till its up and running, bart was pushing 11psi, id like to wind up the wick to 13, but will have to see how things go.

and before you mention it bart, I know there is NO warrantee on the motor
