Cracked another set of extractors and blew another turbo a week or two ago. I would strongly recommend never buying Chinese stuff, It is the pits!
So I decided to make myself some headers and go to a T2 turbo for some nice response. Finished up the headers the other day, there made from steam pipe so should never crack (hopefully), and brought a HKS GT-SS turbo, which is a gt28. Its rated to 300hp which is what I'll be after on high boost so it should be the perfect size!
I have it running on a well used T25 at the moment which is super smokey haha, but it still goes better and is waaaaaay nicer to drive than the t3t4. I'm still waiting on the gt-ss, I hope the guy isn't stuffing me over but I think he may.. I still haven't got it and it was ment to be shipped overnight over 2 weeks ago.. Anyone know a Garreth Williams who lived in Auckland but is now in Oz and he has a EP82 Starlet??

Went for a drive before.. started getting a decent big end knock, which is not ideal because I'm ment to be driving up to auckland this week. Hmmm, hopefully I'll find an engine and swap it over before I go! Anyone with a CA around that they want to sell sing out!

Whats going to happen to the dead carcass if you do carry out an engine swap?

Made it up to Auckland yesterday.. What a drive haha! was a good rush to get it all going before the trip. I went and got another motor from westport on monday and put it in monday and tuesday, then my new turbo finally showed up friday morning so I though I should put that on before the trip! Its great too! same spool time and the T25 I was using but good for 300hp!
Next job on the list is a dyno tune, Hopefully that'll happen in the coming weeks!

I talked to the megasquirt dude in Tauranga (top fella), he said he can fit me in for a dyno sometime after the 5th of feb. So hopefully I'll drop the car of to him for the week and it'll all be sorted! I would be happy with 250whp!

A Few pics with the longchamps on! couldn't drive anywhere because the front wheels hit the caliper but some small spacers will sort that out, then I want to get a buff on the whole car in time for this japanese car show coming up in two weeks!
