Pretty sure thats the last of it sorry. I gave away a bunch of stuff with the car when I sold it in the late 90's. Some of it was new stuff I picked up when Cockrams were getting rid of their 180B stock back then - the car was mint so didnt need anything but you cant let those sorts of opportunities slip by if you know what I mean (-; There was also any original components I changed, not that I changed much and some bits from a 73 SSS I bought to wreck mainly for the chrome wheels yours had on it when you got it. Dont know whether you got any of that stuff? Does it still have the 5 speed box in it? Be sure to let you know if I stumble over anything else.

hey DanFos,
I think my mate was the guy who bought this car from you. Would have been early-mid '99? He owned it for ages and drove the hell out of it. The 5speed that was in it turned to custard, and was replaced with a four speed that I believe he got off you? I seem to recall there being some spare parts (Possibley new ones?) in the boot when he bought it.

Hey Bartman, yeah that sounds about right or was it '98? cant remember. Cant remember either whether I gave him the original 4 speed from the 72 as I'd fitted it to the 73 for a while which went to a wrecker after I stripped what I wanted off it. Definitely gave him a spare 5 speed that I had pulled from the 73 tho. Both 5 speeds were the old stanza type box with the dog leg first that was fitted to later 610 SSS's - awesome! Shouldnt have shat itself, was practically a brand new box when I fitted it. Anyway glad to hear he enjoyed it, was very sad to see it go...

I think the gearbox must have developed an oil leak. Cos wen I heard it it sounded like it had no oil in it.
Regardless, he wishes he never sold it. It may have been '98, he and I flatted together in '99. I think we took it to check out the place we lived in, and that would have been very early '99.
