There are a lot of guys over here running the L28ET in the earlier S30's. Very popular swap. If you decide to go turbo, you'd have to change the wiring loom anyways. Keep it simple, and run it with no intercooler for a while. Just drop in the turbo motor and wiring harness. Figure out the little issues that will come up, and then do the fancy things later.

as tempting as it is I think I will give it a miss for now. If I was going to keep the car I would start on it tomorrow, but in my case probably not worth all the work involved. Maybe the next owner will do it!
