I met a guy in Hawkes bay who had the storage shed next to Brendans that had an N/A converted CA18. It had what looked a bit like an A series dizzy sticking out of where the CAS had originally been.

It'd be much much easier with a four port head if one was taken by the need to fabricate a carby manifold for a CA18.

You can pick up a CA18de for $100-400 depending on how good it is, and how much stuff comes with it. I got one with a loom for $60 once. since you're going to go N/A, you wont need the lower comp of a DET engine.
To my knowledge, no off the shelf manifold for sidedrafts on one of these motors is available. (But I don't know everything)

That twits motor had an e15 electronic dizzy machined to suit. He bought the package off some past Datsun nuts, has 45s and apparently seriously high compression.
That 120y racecar project will never be completed, a shame to see that motor going to waste.
