I see last time we met at New World about 10am. I found that made the other end of the day quite pushed, can I suggest 9am meet, 9.30 on the road.
Also a better meeting place would be good, this is going to be Huge, (Particularly since Steve is putting on a shout), for the Hanmer cruise we all but stretched the car park, with their developments going on, and it is always good to park up together, rather than having Jo Public mixed in amongst us. The venue at Ashvegus and Halswell were excellent, anything North end of the city like that?
What about the last pub in Belfast, on the left heading north, don't know what it is called, Belfast Liquor Centre or something, is that the one you were thinking of Bart?

Found it Bart, wrong side of the road isn't it, might be easier to find one one the left.

Not even a long sleep during a long drive? Just park up on someone's back seat

I guess that depends on whether your low power fault is fixed or not.
Couple of hours to Waiau, Hourish to go cart track, 15 min to Kaikoura, 2 1/2 hrs home, with play at the track, drinking time and lie telling should take about all day. Home by 6 I recon
Last year we had a run up the Hawkswood hill climb road on the way up. People keen for a look? Just a cruise, no time trialling!

You must be shouting more than one to make it a "Wee" event!

Cool...we should be in for Akaroa, but this one sounds sweet too. I know we dropped out last time (had no gas or cash to get some) but it would be sweet to see the area around Waiau, since NZ King Salmon (the company I work for) just bought a new hatchery up there! Who knows, maybe we can scout it out a bit just in case I get transferred lol (ie that ice cream idea I read in an earlier post sounds like a damn good idear)

im in for sure. amazing roads to drive through. with the OLDSCHOOL meet we met up at 830-9 and left by 930, which worked out well time wise for the whole day.
