since its a backup forum, then hopefully in future there should be no need for anyone to use this forum
that would be great, I honestly would love that.
I havent done anything wrong here.
It seems some people have taken its pupose in the wrong way.
I would love nothing more to have to never use this forum, and have glens up all the time.....honestly! I respect glen for all that he has done over the years. and have no reason or intention of changing that.....again.....TEMPORARY!
well.....it will stay up, but for use as backup.
once glens sites back up, ill lock this one....and if it ever goes down again which I and everyone else hopes is never the case, then this will be unlocked again untill his is back online.

simple to understand, and I see no reason that that should cause anyone any issues

Why is it that the only place on this site where it says that this is temporary is on this topic?

Wow, what is going on here? From an outsiders point of view it looks like DATSIK's post are a total overreaction.

If anything I'd be thankful that the guys have a place to come and chat while docnz is offline.

To me it looks like this was definitely made to replace datsun.co.nz. But when that didn't go down to well those who made it changed their minds completely and claim it was temp from the beginning even though it really didn't look like it. Anyway I would like to bring up an issue concerning me and surely others...

Will somebody please think of the post counts?!!!!!!!!!!

It's been extremely frustrating not having a forum to refer people to when encountering a a new datsun person. It's also unfortunate that Glenn has refused all offers of assistance to secure a bullet proof forum.
I'm thrilled to have somewhere to converse with my friends.
With all due respect to Glenn, he dropped the ball pretty bad and left lots of people out in the cold.
In all fairness, what else was going to happen?

As for post counts, post counts on a forum that is down are worthless. Just because DOCNZ is down, does that mean no-one else is allowed to host a datsun site? I know for a FACT that Dan has NEVER intended to offend Glenn.

How about just leave me out of this. I will just wait for DOCNZ to come back.

I know what Dan was trying to do for ALL of us, the idea was bloody great, just the way in which it was handle wasnt the best effort.

Good luck with the Inc. thingie/site stuff etc.
