I went to Akaroa this afternoon around 15.00 to say hi and have a look around and couldnt see any Datsun's
To late may be? was it held in the same place as last year?

Yep same place, at that time we would have been cruising the back road heading to the hilltop pub.

Bugger! Oh well there is always next year.

It was a great run, thanks to the organisers etc.

My rear wheel arch won the battle between it and the tyre on the Christchurch side of little river. Having a flat dunlop aquajet for a spare and the wrong size wheel brace made things interesting.

Thanks to everyone that attended and thanks to Bart for being the voice of the committee.

Had an interesting day, randomly met one of the previous owners of my car in Akaroa who told me a few things I didn't know. There were two cars that could have won the hard luck trophy on the way home, Karl above and also Greg who split a water hose.

Great day. Definitely a good one to come back on after a long time away from the club. I will post some of my photos shortly.
