Whent out with Vanz Unlimited and Garden City Cruises to a grasskana. I felt cylindericly and cubicly challanged with allthese big stonking V8s. But hay the beast of bog standardness came through.

Check out the latest addition to the pool room.

I got some datsun parts over the week end. I now have a passenger window with a weather strip. That means both of the front windows go up and down. That should improve the air conditioning.

I have finaly got around to doing my bit for the earthquake. I an attemt to improve road congestion I have fitted an auxiliary fan to the old girl. On the day of the Feb earthquake it took me three hours to get from Sockburn to Heatcote. Due to lots of time sitting still I slowly watched the water temp gauge slowly climb and climb. To resolve this problem I popped the bonnet and held it open with a cassette tape case. This worked supprisingley well in bringing the temprature down to an acceptable level. Having been caught in a few traffic jams since (luckiley I did not need to break out the cassette tape case) I thought I would fit this old fan that I had.

Checking witch direction the fan worked it bit me! ***** warning gore allert, extream ouchies *****

Once that healed up I got around to this.

It comes on only when I see the temp gauge and go crap and turn it on! But so far I have not needed to turn it on. So now that it has been fitted I shouldn't need it. Well heres hoping anyway.

Im sorry, all I read was cassette tape and went "WTF"? lol Have not seen one of those in many a year now. Was it an old mixtape you made recording various songs off the radio in your youth?
I sure miss those days! Oh yeah and you fan mounting is awesome.

Yes it was a mixed tape of tragic songs from the radio! I even think there was a dedication to my girlfriend at the time. The sterio in the car is a radio/cassette player. So I had to drag out all of the old tapes I had and play them mostly for laughs. My CD collection is not any better as all of it is like so last millennium! LOL!
