Cheers guys, just trying to get through stuff a bit at a time at the moment, Bart, I took it down to clutch systems and he skimmed it down, was bugger all and sorted the issues, he said the flywheel is sweet as to use, which is great.

Ha, This is the issue with long standing projects.
Did you end up having a play with the Aseries?
I had a look back through your thread but might have missed it. Only asking as you were tlaking about it last time we caught up?
Saw my first A series in the 1200 hole in a long time the other day without a super charger grafted on the side.
Seeing that and then looking at yours you forget just how low and backward they sit in the bay.
Good choice IMO going back original

This one sits a bit lower than most, I notched out the cross member and lowered the sump, plenty of room around it for sure. I bought Bart's old motor, just a case of substituting the supercharger for a turbo, and adding efi. Can't wait to start it up.

Looking good Wal. Sorry for my ignorance but are you still going A series Turbo?
Had a quick look back through but there are a lot of pages.
Im sure slotting the A series into a space made for a CA was a reassuring feeling you have made the right choice!
