Another thing sorted, picked up some alloy pipe for the top hose extension, and welded the boss on for the temp sensor.

Got busy tonight and started on the wiring.

Are you rewiring the whole car or just the bits for the EFI? Good to see this thing getting some love!

General tidy up of the existing wiring , and relays for the headlights etc.

Good question , not to far I would think , all the wires are now conected for the computer, I need to double check how the tps wiring is hooked up (can't find a diagram that relates to the wire colours on mine ) ran the heater hoses tonight, was trying to avoid running the hose under the manifold , but looks like it can't be avoided. Need to sort the bottom radiator hose , and try to get a quater turn on the fitting in the back of the head ,to line up the top heater hose. install the starter motor. Oh and bought some mx5 seats off trade me, I reackon they look like a modern z seat.
