Re: Spotted! - Datsuns spotted in the wild photo thread.
Here's a few I've spotted here in nelson over the years...
Yellow LHD roadster:
I was stock ass apart from a few extra gauges slung under the dash. Factory UKDM Z:
The owner bought it brand new in the UK, and brought it with him when he moved to our beautiful country 5 years ago.
(He came into work because some fcukwit ran a shopping trolly along the RH rear wheel arch at the supermarket, I advised him to go and get a color matched can, not one of our universal ones...
And my mate andy's p610 180b:
L18et: Original block, race bearings, h-beam rods and flat-tops, 3.5k of head work (He sacrificed 4x a87 heads to know where the gallery's were and managed to get loan of FIA head blueprints years ago.) custom intake manifold (Consisting of CA inlets with evo injectors?, trumpets inside a custom plenum with a 63mm throttle body) custom exhaust manifold (That he got given) with a t3 flange, that now houses a t28, individual coil packs and custom CAS mounted where the dizzy used to be, and a custom (Removable) engine-bay mounted pajero top-mount intercooler, behind the LH headlights, with an axillary fan to cool and 2-way blow-off valve.
I'll try find pics of the motor..
Suspension is full SSS gear, and a lsd out of a 99' RS sti coupe. 5sp dogleg (Out of the coupe I parted)
Performance:
-11.5:1 compression
-194hp atw on daily tune (242hp on top tune)
-8psi boost
-Wolf 3D ecu (They have a hand controller, that's what he's playing with in the pics)
-248Nm torque on both tunes!
(It's crazy to ride in, I've never felt how the power comes on in ANY other car I've been in!!)

Re: Spotted! - Datsuns spotted in the wild photo thread.
I've seen heaps of Datsuns over the last week or so:
A good looking black 310 Sunny this morning on Moorhouse Ave
A 1200 rally car on a trailer maybe Tues/Wed night
A nice looking red 1200 coupe some time today
Saw a white 180B at some stage this week too
