So far I am at Mockup stage with borrowed, parts to work out the kinks so i can order correct length springs and keepers ect from summit or something.
These are actually from a cheap Honda Kit, the pic shown is to show that at max droop everything is captive and legit, however i need to come up with some wizardry for the lower spring seat as the lower spring seat is further back and off to one side as the upper spring seat causing some serious misalignment.
Watch this space
haha i love it!
This thing will look choice with more Slam
Going to run them front and rear?

Righto
Just bought a 2nd Set of Rear Suspension Arms So that I can chop off the spring mount. weld a 6mm flat plate in there in which the lower spring pillow ball mount will bolt up to.

Next step is to cut and weld the control arms, and mount everything up, oh and of course bust out the credit card and order it all

One Side 90% Done
With a Trolley jack under the control arm pumped up until it lifts the car off the chassis stands
The Measurements for Middle of wheel to top of guard:
Standard height 300lb springs = 440mm
180mm 450lb springs with keepers would fully down = 380mm
So in theory I can get 60mm lower which matches the front ride Height exactly.
off for tig welding and a NDT report on satturday

didn't get anything out for NDT or welding as my front coil over kit only arrived later Friday afternoon.
However I hopped right to it, Mrs Tibbs( My wife not mother thank you very much) was at work so i plenty of time to build excellent adjustable front suspension
Koni Damper Adjustable Shocks
Billet Alloy Z31 Camber Plates with HD spherical Bearings
5K ( 280 lb) Coil over springs with, Helper springs ( I have a range of springs up to 8k or 450lb)
Billet Alloy Roll Center Adjusters
Now i have a totally Pimped front end, here is how it looks
Really $^%ing stoked at how these came out, I should be able to lower down to almost no wheel gap and still have about 80mm of shock travel.

Cheers Dylan
I'm cracking onto it, i desperately want to drive this thing again
Yesterday i finished up all the suspension mockup's
Today I did all the prep work and sanding and filing and small adjustments ready for Tig welding and packed everything up in the old Hilux parts wagon.
After that I made mounting brackets for the inter cooler, used some old sway bar bushings so its all rubber mounted and adjustable.
I'm thinking about doing some ducting to that inter cooler does anybody have any idea's on what material to use ?
Next big update it should be sitting on its wheels at its ride height for Cert
